Bihar’s first green paper mill ‘Saha and Bright Paper Private Limited’ was inaugurated in Patna’s Rukunpura on Friday. State Industry Minister Nitish Mishra inaugurated this ultra-modern project by cutting the ribbon. This paper mill is not only modern in terms of technology, but is also setting a new example in the state in terms of environmental sensitivity.
200 tons of paper scrap will be consumed every day : This unit, designed for the production of multi-layer kraft paper, will consume 200 tonnes of paper scrap every day. The special thing is that useful paper will be prepared from waste here, which will not only promote waste management but will also help in environmental protection. This project is likely to provide direct employment to 150 people and indirect employment to about 5 thousand people.
Industry Minister said it is a historic day for Bihar : Industry Minister Nitish Mishra called it a “historic day” for the industrial sector of Bihar. He said that for the first time a paper mill based on green technology of this level is being started in the state, which will become an inspiration for investors and industrial houses in the coming times. On this occasion, the minister also inspected the napkin and thermocol manufacturing unit located at Mohammadpur in Fatuha and praised the industrial development taking place in the state.

This modern unit is the result of decades of hard work and vision, which aims to achieve excellence in multi-layer kraft paper manufacturing and give Bihar a new identity in the field of industry.
