Grembox Invests €26 Million in New Corrugated Packaging Plant in Poland

Polish packaging manufacturer Grembox has announced a major investment of 110 million zloty (approximately €26 million) to establish a state-of-the-art corrugated cardboard packaging production facility in Bytom, Poland. The new manufacturing plant, located within the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSSE), represents a significant step in the company’s long-term growth strategy and is expected to strengthen its production capacity while supporting increasing demand from customers across Europe.

Construction of the facility is currently underway, with commercial operations scheduled to begin in mid-2027. Once operational, the plant will manufacture a wide range of high-quality corrugated packaging solutions for industries including food and beverages, e-commerce, consumer goods, industrial products, and logistics. The facility will serve both the domestic Polish market and international customers, reinforcing Grembox’s expanding presence in the European corrugated packaging sector.

The investment is expected to generate up to 70 new jobs, contributing to regional economic development while supporting the company’s continued expansion. Grembox believes the new facility will become one of the largest and most technologically advanced corrugated cardboard packaging manufacturing centers in Poland, significantly increasing its production capabilities and improving service levels for customers.

According to the company, Bytom was selected as the ideal location due to several strategic advantages. Its close proximity to Grembox’s headquarters will enable efficient operational management, while the availability of additional land provides opportunities for future expansion. The site also benefits from excellent transport infrastructure, including direct access to the A1 motorway and well-developed rail connections, ensuring efficient distribution of finished products throughout Poland and across European markets.

The new production plant will be equipped with highly automated manufacturing systems, advanced converting equipment, and digitally controlled material-flow technologies designed to maximize productivity, improve product quality, and optimize logistics within the facility. Automation and smart factory solutions will help streamline operations, reduce production lead times, and enhance manufacturing efficiency while maintaining consistent quality standards.

The investment reflects Grembox’s commitment to modern manufacturing, innovation, and sustainable growth in the corrugated packaging industry. By expanding its production footprint and investing in advanced technologies, the company aims to strengthen its competitiveness, improve customer responsiveness, and meet the growing demand for high-performance, sustainable corrugated packaging solutions in both domestic and international markets.
