HexcelPack and ARMOR Protective Packaging have jointly launched an innovative packaging solution, VCI HexcelWrap Paper, combining protective cushioning with advanced corrosion prevention technology.
The new solution merges HexcelPack’s honeycomb kraft paper design with ARMOR’s vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) technology, creating a dual-purpose packaging material that protects products from both physical damage and rust formation.
Designed as an eco-friendly alternative to plastic-based protective wraps, the product is fully recyclable and eliminates the need for oily or chemical coatings. It offers effective void fill, cushioning, and corrosion protection in a single paper-based solution.
This innovation is especially beneficial for industries such as automotive, machinery, metal components, and export packaging, where long-distance shipping and storage require both impact resistance and rust prevention.
