Aura Global Strengthens Packaging Technology Business with New Software Leadership

Aura Global Expands Technology Team and India Operations to Accelerate AI-Powered Packaging Solutions

Packaging consultancy Aura Global has strengthened its technology capabilities by appointing Keith Williams as Director of Software Engineering while simultaneously expanding its operations in India with a larger studio in Bengaluru, reinforcing the company’s global growth strategy.

Williams will report to Technology Director Robert Quigley and lead the expansion of Aura Global’s software engineering capabilities, focusing on the development of AI-enabled technologies and digital platforms for retailers, brands, and product suppliers.

His responsibilities include advancing e-halo, Aura Global’s proprietary packaging sustainability platform that captures and manages real-time packaging data, and e-flow, the company’s end-to-end packaging workflow software that streamlines creative design, artwork management, and packaging governance.

With extensive experience in building AI-driven procurement and analytics platforms, Williams returns to Aura Global after previously spending seven years with the company.

According to Robert Quigley, technology remains central to Aura Global’s growth strategy as packaging companies face increasing regulatory requirements, data complexity, and the need for faster decision-making. He noted that Williams’ engineering leadership will help introduce practical AI-powered tools that improve efficiency and deliver measurable value for clients.

Alongside its technology investment, Aura Global has expanded its Bengaluru studio, doubling its operational space to support growing client demand, future recruitment, and enhanced collaboration. The new facility has been designed as a scalable global delivery hub supporting the company’s long-term international expansion.

The company is placing particular emphasis on growing its Data Assurance, Account Management, and Adaptive Design teams. Together with its Chennai studio, Aura Global India has increased its workforce by more than 300% since its inception and by 34% over the past two years.

With more than 50 years of combined expertise in premedia and packaging graphics, the India studios provide 24/6 support, working alongside Aura Global’s UK and US operations to deliver packaging design, artwork, and production services across global time zones.

Managing Director Greg Lawson said the India business has evolved into a multidisciplinary center of excellence that combines creative, technical, and production expertise, positioning it to play an even larger role in supporting packaging clients worldwide.
