Record-breaking October 2026 reflects operational excellence, improved efficiency and strong team performance.
Emami Paper Mills Ltd. has achieved a significant manufacturing milestone at its Board Plant, recording its best-ever monthly machine production during October 2026. The plant reported an impressive machine production of 19,947 MT, accompanied by finished production of 18,650 MT. Equally noteworthy was the achievement of reducing machine downtime to just 33.25 hours, reflecting a strong focus on operational discipline, production planning and equipment performance.
These achievements highlight the growing importance of manufacturing efficiency in the paper and paperboard industry, where consistent production, machinery reliability and effective resource utilisation play a critical role in maintaining competitiveness. Minimising downtime while maximising machine output requires coordinated efforts across production, maintenance, quality control and other operational teams. Emami Paper Mills’ October performance demonstrates how effective teamwork and a commitment to continuous improvement can translate into measurable manufacturing results.
As the Indian paper industry continues to focus on productivity, quality enhancement and cost optimisation, such operational milestones offer an encouraging example for the manufacturing sector. Sustaining these performance levels while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency will be important for future growth. The October achievement at Emami Paper Mills’ Board Plant is a noteworthy reminder that behind every production milestone lies a combination of technology, planning and dedicated people.
