Cascades Inc. is reinforcing its position in the tissue paper segment with a strategic investment at its Granby facility in Quebec, Canada.
The company is installing a new high-performance converting line, bringing its total investment at the site to $29 million.
This advanced line will significantly enhance production efficiency and product quality, with an annual capacity of up to 3 million cases, mainly focused on retail tissue products such as toilet paper and multipacks. The project is expected to be completed within nine months, with operations set to begin in Q4 2026.
The investment will also help secure 239 jobs at the facility, supporting local employment while enabling Cascades to better meet growing market demand. This move aligns with the company’s long-term strategy of modernization, operational excellence, and sustainable growth in the tissue paper sector.
