AFT to Supply Stock Preparation in Asia-Pacific

AFT (Aikawa Fiber Technologies) has received an order from Asia-Pacific for a comprehensive stock preparation system rebuild, supporting the mill’s project to install a new fine paper production line.

The investment aims to increase production flexibility, improve fiber processing efficiency, and enable consistent high-quality output in fine paper grades.

Technical Scope of Supply

AFT’s delivery includes conveying and MaxVrtex bale pulping systems designed to process three types of raw materials. The scope further features MaxEdge™ refiners for both hardwood and softwood fiber development, as well as a MaxRid™ detrasher and MaxWash™ Drum for effective broke handling and cleaning efficiency. In addition, the order includes a POMix™ stock processor for precise stock blending, together with several pumps and agitators to support the overall performance of the stock preparation line.

Complementing the equipment package, AFT will provide process and plant engineering, along with key field services and start-up support to ensure smooth integration and optimized operation from the first day of production.

AFT’s technologies are designed to improve process stability, reduce variability, and enhance the efficient use of raw materials—contributing to higher production reliability and better end-product quality. Project execution is underway, with equipment deliveries starting early 2026.
