Runtech Systems has unveiled its latest innovation, the RunPro Easy4 Web Stabilizer, marking a significant advancement in dryer section runnability for paper machines.
The new system integrates effective web stabilization, adjustable vacuum control, and simplified maintenance to enhance sheet stability throughout the dryer section—ultimately boosting productivity while lowering energy consumption.
The Easy4 design eliminates the need for annual maintenance shutdowns and removes consumable components, offering long-term cost savings and improved operational reliability.
“RunPro Easy4 is easy to use, maintain, install, and trust. It also fits seamlessly into our broader approach to improving overall runnability. By managing unsupported draws, controlling pocket airflow, and stabilizing sheet transfer, mills can achieve fewer breaks, smoother tail threading, and higher sustainable machine speeds,” said Teemu Juselius.
“The Easy4 Stabilizer made a strong impression from its very first startup. With three more machines set to be equipped with Easy4 Stabilizers in 2026, the outlook is very promising. Customers have quickly recognized the benefits for their mills,” added Jussi Lahtinen.
Positioned as next-generation stabilizer technology, RunPro Easy4 is designed for modern high-speed paper machines. It builds on proven high-vacuum principles while introducing key enhancements, including a consumable-free design and adjustable vacuum configuration. This allows operators to fine-tune sheet control based on grade, machine speed, and moisture profiles—overcoming the limitations of fixed vacuum systems and wear-prone components.
An optimized airflow concept further improves sheet support while reducing energy input, addressing the growing need for energy efficiency in the dryer section, one of the most energy-intensive areas of paper production.
