Live Puri replaces metal closures with fiber-based NutraCap

Dutch brand Live Puri, a producer of nutraceuticals free of fillers, flavorings, or preservatives, decides to fully implement the breakthrough fiber closure NutraCap™, in a stride to abandon metal caps.

Made of renewable fibers and recyclable as paper, Blue Ocean Closures’ NutraCap is designed for the supplements segment. Shifting their full portfolio of vitamin products to a more sustainable alternative, enables Live Puri to significantly cut the CO₂ footprint. Choosing the right path in sustainability is complex – this choice was simple. Maaike Godts, Founder and Managing Director of Live Puri says;

“Sustainability isn’t a single metric. It’s a careful balance of materials, performance, safety, and end-of-life. Finding the most sustainable option can feel like a puzzle. The responsible use of resources, high quality and waste reduction impact, made our decision in this case quite straightforward.”

Consumers will be able to buy seven different Live Puri vitamin products, packed in glass bottles with the brown, natural looking closures, being the more sustainable alternative available on the market. Recognizing that their customers expect high quality standards and aligned with brand values, Live Puri emphasizes the significance of this step.

“Changing the closure matters! It’s a meaningful signal that we’re listening  to what people care about and to what the planet needs. We are glad we found a partner in Blue Ocean Closures to help us innovate,” affirms Maaike Godts. And Blue Ocean Closures is happy to see more forward-thinking brands on board.
